Welcome to our 17th Open Water Swim at Middle Brighton
Saturday 23 January 2027. Presented by the Rotary Club of Brighton in association with the Brighton Lifesaving Club to support community charities. Kieser continues as our Principal Event Sponsor.
Entries for the 2500m, 1400m and 650m events are available online until 1 hour before that event starts on Saturday 23 January (late entry prices apply after noon on 22 January). Junior Dash entries close at noon on Friday 22 January, with no entries on race day. Check in at least 30 minutes before your event to collect your swim cap and timing band.

Registrations open at 8:00 AM for the 2500m and at 9:00 AM for all other events. See the full Event Program.
Event highlights
- 650m Intermediate Swim from the marina to the beach
- 1400m and 2500m Open Water events around the breakwater and marina
- Change tents and gear storage next to the Yacht Club yard
- Beach rinse-down showers
- Food stalls in front of the Baths
- T-shirts for the first 1,000 entrants, plus swim caps, sunscreen and random prizes for Open Water swimmers
